Title: What About A Single Stack Glock?
Post by: K10 on July 27 2015 08:43:57 PM MDT
I sure would buy one that would fit my small hands. What do you all think?

They have the Glock 42 and 43.

If they made a single stack 10mm like the glock 36 I would buy it in about 3 seconds for concealed carry

What I would like to see is a Glock 10mm with 4" barrel and grip length the same as a Glock 19. Same width at the 20/29. It would be in between the size of the 29 and 20. That would allow a magazine capacity of 13 and be a bit easier to carry. Maybe the Glock 44 to be released at shot show 2016? A Gen 3 version please! Doubtful, but I can always hope.

You never know. They just gave us a six inch longslide. Seems to be big interest in 10mm again. Maybe we'll get lucky.

Heck I'd be happy if they just came out with a 13 round mag. That little 29 really could use room for your pinky when firing full house loads. I put a Pearce grip extension on mine. Would rather have extra rounds to fill that space.

You can get just about what you want if you put one of those magazine extender on the G29 mags.  It's barely shorter in the slide than the G19, and with the extension on the mag they have virtually the same grip height.  I carry a G19, and I found a 19 and a 30 with the mag extension on the gunshop wall recently and got to compare them side-by-side.  It's still not a single-stack, if that's what you're after.
If I end up getting into the 10mm in a big way, the G29 is probably what will replace my G19.

Honestly I love variety. It doesn't have to replace your 19. Could just be its friend.

Oh, to be sure!  I like variety as well, and I can't see me ever getting rid of my 9mms altogether.
I'd like a Witness Match Elite some day, too.  8)

Bought one last year for 579. Absolutely love it. Best gun for the money easily. I think I can shoot it as well as my way overpriced Ed Brown. Plus its 14 + 1 in my favorite caliber. Accurate, reliable and sleek.
