I wish I could get the real stuff again... true M-80's, Cherry Bombs, Silver Salutes and Block Busters were the heavy hitters.

I think they outlawed sparklers in California. Too much of a fire hazard. It would be better if they outlawed idiots.

We used to take the cheapest fastest burning sparklers, stuff a bunch of them into a cardboard tube from a coat hanger, and seal one end. Made a heck of a skyrocket when fireworks were Illegal in Wisconsin, but sparklers were OK.

*sigh* I miss Seal Bombs. Used to be able to get them in San Diego because they used them off the Tuna Boats.

My dad was a commercial fisherman. He always had a few. Impressive. Theoretically, a person could put one inside some salmon guts and a sea lion might eat that, but you totally shouldn't.
