Anyone with a Glock 29 cut the Trigger Guard down to keep from getting Glock Knuckle ? If you did do you have picks , any Tips on the doing the mod ?
What is glock knuckle? Never had any issue with any of mine
rw , Thank you for the reply . The problem is when you have thick fingers or large hands with long fingers . The knuckle of the middle finger rides under the trigger guard . when you fire the gun the trigger guard rubs hard on that knuckle . a good day at the range kind of punishes that knuckle .
Since I started this thread I have found the solution to the problem , I installed the larger grip backstrap . That moves the knuckle out from under the trigger guard , end of problem .
I don't have a Glock 29 but my friend Bill does and He reamed out the trigger guard next to the grip. He has larger fingers than me, but I also find it MUCH more comfortable than stock. I didn't ask him how he did it. If / when I get a Glock. It would be a 29 and I would do this. I am guessing a dremel tool with rotary cutter and then polish / grind with finer and finer grit wheel or sandpaper.
Ps he had pierce grip ext on mags. Very nice.

sstewart , I did the pierce grip ext on on my mags as well .
Today my parts from Rock Your Glock came in the mail , and I added them to my new G 29 . I can hardly wait to go to the range .
I've put the pearce extensions on my 29 as well and that alone got my finger off the trigger guard since they gave me a better grip.
I put the Pierce Extensions on my mag's , but that was not enough . I had to add the large backstrap to the grip , and that did the trick . It filled my hand enough to move my fingers back to where my knuckle was no longer under the trigger guard .
