Posted this heads-up over on GT's 10-Ring, but thought maybe some of the 10mm guys here may have missed it ...
Under the "Loading Bench" section of the July 2015 issue of The Am.Rifleman, there's a credible and fairly detailed write-up on 10mm guns (mainly 1911s) and certain brands of factory 10mm ammo, including DT and BB. It was penned by Layne Simpson, himself a long time 10mm fan. It's a very good, pro-10mm article. The one omission in Simpson's piece was any mention of Sig's 10mm entries - although, strangely, he did give a passing mention to Sig's producing its own line of 10mm ammo.
Of the 3 Sig 10mm P220s, the only model that interests me is the two-tone DA/SA Elite with fixed night sights. Even so, for me, Sig's decision to design its 10mms with a low-capacity mag (8+1) is a downer.
This model was recently reviewed by an outfit from Alabama in the YouTube link below - again just FYI ( a good review by the way, and worth the watch). If this model interests you, it's the Sig P220-10 - sku# 220R5-10-RTAS-MSE.

Glad it wasn't just me about the NRA article. BTW. I reposted my thoughts on the AR Facebook page as well. ???
