Looking to by a Smith & Wesson 1006 in good condition. Must already be in California and able to perform a face to face private party transfer through a registered FFL.

So I saw one at Cabela's a few minutes ago. You have those stores out there? Maybe they can transfer

No good. The pistol isn't on CA's drop list, so it can only be transferred (through and FFL) between private parties. No FFL sales, unless the buyer is an "exempt" class (active LEO's, etc.). Also, there are no Cabela's stores in CA. There are ways around this, but we don't discuss it, openly.
