Title: Henning guide rod too long?I'm confused
Post by: Diabloken on June 21 2015 05:01:19 PM MDT
When I got my new springs and guild rod for my EAA Witness  I noticed the guide rod sticks out the front of the gun
about .400. is this like that on purpose. Can I cut it off with no effect to the performance of the gun?
I'm confused...help me out guys! Thanks

Is it a compact with a full length in it? You could cut it back yourself.

None of mine extend past the end.

You could also have an extended slide version 4.75" in a regular barrel. (4.5")

What they said, wrong application. Mine fit perfectly. Not many times I've found aftermarket internals better than factory, this is one.
