Just curious what you guys think of these? I've loaded multiple 10mm with starline brass and haven't had this issue. My buddy bought some new starline brass from an online vendor (not starline) and these were the result? Do you think its a bad batch? We shot about 200rds this weekend and about 20-25 brass cracked? These were loaded with AA9 and longshot pushing about 1250-1280fps 180gr Xtreme.
Also these where shot from a g20 with a stormlake barrel and 22lb recoil spring
Let me know what you guys think.

I think something is wrong! Sorry, but I have no clue what. Unless the barrell has gone south, I'd definitely contact Starline.
I just finished loading up some 210 grain JHPs with Longshot that should get around 1350!

Did I mention they're for a 41 mag? 8)
First, is the damaged brass Starline? Second were they new, sold as new? They look to be brittle, Not properly annealed or work hardened. The alloy could have been out of spec...
Yes all these brass where new Starline Brass. I've emailed Starline and awaiting there reply. I've never seen so many new Starline brass crack like this before.
I would sort of like to know what recipe was used in reloading them. Do you have any problems with any other cases using that recipe?
I have loaded about 2,000 rounds of new Starline brass and haven't seen anything like that out of a stock Glock 20 & 29 with loads inside of book values. I have only purchased one batch of 1,000 new Starline brass that I did not purchase direct, loaded and shot 500 of them this weekend and no cracked cases. I would also be interested in the loads used.
I've loaded these on my loads and my brothers load about 3k loads and we never had crack brass. These are my buddies brass he bought. I've loaded them about 10gr Longshot and about 14gr AA9, and fps is around 1280-1320fps.
I'm pushing my self defense/hunting rounds even hotter 1400+ fps and i dont get any crack brass. Which leads me to a bad batch of brass.
A couple years back we were seeing reports of Hornady brass doing this.
10 grains of longshot is over max for a 180 grain bullet, as is 14 grains of #9. First thing I would try is backing off to a book MAX load of 9.5 grains of longshot or 13.5 grains of #9 and see what you get.
I can do that but i would have to pull all the loads i did for him :(. It's just weird that it happens randomly. I mean the ratio of 200 shot and only couple cracked and the others are fine. What was the outcome of Hornady brass doing it?

I don't know, seems like you just may be at the limit of the pressure the brass can stand. I too would disassemble them and back em' on down.
