Thanks Wolfie for sending these to see how they perform and what they are made of.

That looks like an interesting fmj load.
Those are interesting but FMJ's...one shows a smaller Meplat that the other...
Good point Shadow. I think they should be weighed. ;)
One is a 170 and the other 180.
I wonder if the 170's will really do 1350.
They feel stronger than the new 180 grain Sigs and on par to the Buffalo Bore 180's. (Shot all 3 last week)
I would also like to know as the store has a few boxes left, if they are as advertised I will buy the rest of them.
Just got back from shooting these and found they have flash and blast. More than rounds going faster over the Chrony. I suspect Power Pistol or Blue Dot!
170gr
EAA Elite Limited 4.75" 1298, 1306. Average = 1302 FPS/ 640 LBS
EAA Super Match 6" 1268, 1312. Average = 1290 FPS/ 628 LBS I suspect another round like the second one would have given a higher 6" average than the 4.75". Whatever the powder is, not much gain in the 6".
180gr
EAA Elite Limited 4.75" 1202, 1218. Average = 1210 FPS/ 585 LBS
EAA Super Match 6" 1264, 1261. Average = 1262.5 FPS/ 637 LBS Saw a gain here in the 6" barrel.
The Sig Sauer 180gr's were slightly faster. Is this ammo discontinued or can you still purchase it?
He has 4 boxes left, he gets these maybe once or twice a year.
Do you consider them full power and do you recommend them?
Myself, I love the flash and blast.
I consider them full power. They are both fine as-is, although a smidge more powder in the 180's would push them over the magical 600lb mark.
