Hi guys... sorry for necroing the thread, but I have a question pertaining to this particular round.

Is the low muzzle velocity and energy relative to other 10mm a consequence of the solid copper bullet?  Or do you think it was downloaded for some reason?

Some time ago, I compared the accuracy of some dozen different factory rounds through my MechTech, G20, and G40, and this round was the most consistently accurate of all of them through all three.  I was really surprised when Snake River updated their documentation and this round was listed as so (relatively) anemic...

Thanks.

The Sold Copper bullets are longer than the lead core bullet of the same weight.  Blue Dot was not the best choice for this loading, but it would be a fairly accurate shooter!  Power Pistol would likely be a better choice.

Team Never Quit has undergone several changes and were slated to sell primers, powders under their own name.  Not sure if that got underway yet!  The thing about that is, powders being sold without loading data is almost useless!  People like working with known sources and info to support the products!  However I see they have links to the Shooter's World brand of powders which are relabeled LOVEX products...

Makes perfect sense... longer bullet = less powder = lower velocity and energy.

I appreciate the insight.
