Title: Team Never Quit 155gr SCHP
Post by: Intercooler on April 24 2015 04:54:47 PM MDT
My backorder finally showed at Cabela's. I also got the 115gr 9mm SCHP and will be running both tomorrow with some Magtech +P+ 9mm.

Wow that is a gaping hollowpoint. Looking forward to your tests.

I will try to get a frangible down to Shadow this week.

They are only rated at 1065 FPS unlike the frangible rounds.

Their ratings on these are a little off.

EAA Limited Pro 4.75" 1266, 1231, 1227. Average = 1241.33 FPS/ 530 LBS
EAA Super Match 6" 1340, 1316, 1323. Average = 1326.33 FPS/ 606 LBS

It will be interesting seeing how this middle of the pack all copper does in gel.

That is like the old US Border Patrol 40 SW load (155 grains at 1250 fps).

This was a hot load that beat up their Beretta 40's, so it was dropped for a milder 180 grain version..
