Interesting! Given that powder and charge, do you think it will make advertised?
My ordered just came in yesterday, but I doubt I'll get to chronograph this weekend. I am looking forward to seeing what they'll do also!
Alliant shows 8.5grains of BE-86 making 1265 fps...
I am hoping to run them this evening over the chronograph... ;)
Mine will be here 4/8 and today they didn't have any at Cabela's.
Mone showed up earlier this week. $25/box. Not bad.

Wow! My new favorite and I haven't shot mine yet :o
I wanted a 600 FT LB target load and here it is!
Nice!
Now you know why I have been looking for the BE-86 powder for so long, I will buy an eight pound jug if I can find it!
It is close to Powder Pistol but has flash deterrents and very clean burning! ;D
Any pressure signs since Alliant max recommended is 8.5 grains on the FMJs? I grabbed 4 lbs (4 1 pounders) of BE-86 last time I found it locally, but haven't seen it in a while... It did seem to be clean burning in my loads also.
The case expansion was minimal from the Glock factory barrels and the S&W1006, The SIG company probably bought all of the BE-86 and is probably why I haven't been able to get any down here... :(
Any idea on what brass they use? I was thinking JAG.
Have you found any visual differences between Starline and JAG when doing pull-downs?
I'll have to look closer but It is stamped SIG, and companies can buy enough and pay for the setup fee to have their own head stamps.
It seems most MFG's are using JAG or Starline with their stamping. I'm thinking this is the same for Sig ammos.
The numbers are looking good on this ammo. I had kind of written this offering off. I may need to try some as well.
My results weren't as good as The Shadow. I also didn't take a 4.75" EAA piece with me today to get that data.
S&W 1006 5" barrel 1210, 1223, 1217. Average = 1216.66 FPS/ 591.53 LBS
EAA Super Match 6" barrel 1280, 1281, 1265. Average = 1275.33 FPS/ 649.96 LBS
Last Friday I ran a box of these through a 5" Wilson Combat 1911 and a 6" Nighthawk Long Slide. Velocities were a little lower for me but still decent 10mm loads.
5" Wilson 1204 FPS average for 9 shots
6" Nighthawk 1237.6 FPS average for 9 shots
As a side note, in comparing the Sig cases to Starline cases, I noticed that the flash hole on the Sig cases is smaller than the Starline flash hole.

Got the 4.75" data (closest to G20).

EAA Super Match 6" 1293, 1264, 1280, 1275, 1271. Average = 1276.6 FPS/ 651.25 LBS
