:o ;D ;D ;D ;D I have a G20 and now a Mech tec... thinking a G29 would be a nice next natural progression. :)
What say you enablers? :P :P
CW
I started my Glock collection with the G-29 and is has been great shooter for me even with the conversion barrels for 40 / 357Sig / 9x25Dillon ;D
Love my G29. Probably the best 10mm I have. I just surrender often to the 1911 siren call.
Go for it! 8)
You know you want one!
I love mine! I started 10mm back in 1990 with the S&W 1006, then bought the Glock 29 late last year and followed up with a G20 this year... I wish H&K made one!

H&K should really make a 10mm. Some people have emailed them stating so, but H&K just balked at the idea.
FNH please make a 10mm

That's because they hate the American gun buyer...if you are not LE/Military you really don't count...if they did make one it would probably be based on the usp or tactical model and start at but 1200.00.
The 29 is a fine gun, very good at concealing and still packs a punch. I recently picked up a Gen4 29 and it shoots great, so good really that I felt that I'd have to work at not shooting a tight group.
I was sniffing one at a gun store this last weekend. I had a 20 in the past so thinking it might be a nice to play with one for a time.

Could be. I am sure the Germans don't see a future in 10mm.
Perhaps they will change their minds someday.
I have been considering a 29 myself. Love my 20.
Well,
In the last week, I bought a holster, ;D couple mags :o and a talon grip. 8) 8) 8) So guess I best buy one!! LOL

That's a fine group. My 1911 groups look like that. When shooting Glocks, not so much.
Just curious, why the SF vs. a Gen 4?

I got 2 Gen 4 glock 45s...21,30.....no issues at all. Super guns...... do the glock 29 and 20 have issues???? 20 is my next purchase
My gen 4 20 has run flawlessly so far.
I second that about the Gen 4. Haven't yet had a chance to take it to a class and really run it through its paces but the first 750 I've put through it since getting it last fall have been perfect, even shooting weak-sauce Freedom Munitions all the way through Underwood. Even with the stock recoil setup and magazine followers numbered 2, 3, and 4. It's not stuttered at all.
Also (since I forgot earlier): Congrats on the sweet piece, CW! I'm curious to see how you like it after your first few experiences with it.
I have read a few times about spring issues and them being over sprung as well as the grip...funky to me.
Shot it twice so far. Like it more each time... First shots where over a bag at 50 yards... shot OK.. will do better as I shoot it more.
Next trip or two I need to start some 5-7 yard exercises. Not to mention different loadings. After some more trigger time I can start carrying. so far, 80 or so rounds it a 100%.
I have some pierce finger grips coming as well as a couple extra mags.
CW
I got a bunch of "goodies" in the mail today!! Three extra mags, two mag pouches to hold them, Pierce finger ext for each and six boxes of Federal 180 Hydra shock ammo. (NO Silver tips could be found)
I Shot about 150 rounds thru the 29 tonight. FUN! Its quite a shooter too!!
Here is three mags at 15 yards!

Shooting the Winchester Silvertip loads in a Glock 29 is very pleasant, accurate and serious defensive power in a small frame gun
Very good shooting!! I find the 29 very pleasant to shoot. Even all weights of Undetwood, esp the 200 gr XTP
