Just rec'd a new shipment (500 rds) of GA 180 FMJ for some plunking.....all new Starline brass!
Just doing the Happy Dance..... :P
Carry on.....
Man, what a chore. All that brass and none of it ready for loading. Better get out your unloading machine and get to work. 8)
May try to unload some tomorrow. Although it's supposed to be 45, with snow showers in the a.m. The range I like is an outdoor range. I'll keep ya'll posted. ;D
I sure wish my reloading machine was as fast as my unloading maching. At least I can use the reloading machine in the basement.
No unloading today..... :o :-[ >:(
Well.....Took my next to the oldest daughter (age 20) out to the range with me on Saturday. Took the G32 (357sig) and the G20(w/KKM6").
I unloaded about 100 rounds of the 357sig....definitely needed some practice. ::)
My daughter loves that gun....she then unloaded another 150 rounds.
I then turned to the G20.....unloaded about 100 rounds; then let my daughter shoot it. She fired one shot and did not care for the recoil....she gently released the mag, cleared the gun and handed it back telling me it was "my" gun. :))
Here's the video: (http://i1000.photobucket.com/albums/af121/BigGun007/GT%20Stuff/Dont%20Like%2010/th_IMG_2445_zps0dmp44iv.mp4) (http://i1000.photobucket.com/albums/af121/BigGun007/GT%20Stuff/Dont%20Like%2010/IMG_2445_zps0dmp44iv.mp4)
I then proceeded to unload a few more 10mm rounds...then called it day.
These days are priceless!
Good on her for keeping the muzzle pointed down range!

She pretty anal about firearm safety. She maybe prim and prissy, but I would feel sorry for the sucker she was releasing some lead-maze at.
She also reminded me to make sure the pistolas were racked back and placed in the holder while not in use. :-[

Well she got her chance to find out what that gun and cartridge are all about, and is that much wiser for the experience! Cool video!
Yep...she is wiser for it.
That was just with the target loads too. She would have really been surprised with the UA 180 xtp. ;)
One thing I noticed was her grip was low on the gun, if she adjusted her grip higher up and lined up her thumbs it may be more comfortable for her to handle. Just an observation...and trying to help! ::)

I agree.....we discussed it; but she said her grip didn't feel as good when it was up higher. We compared her grip with the G32 and she could see the difference. She may try it again next outing...with the higher grip. I will probably change the backstraps and see what that does for her, too.
