Title: old Hornady bullets
Post by: zito1553 on March 25 2015 04:55:50 AM MDT
Hello all  new member here.  I have several box's of older Hornady 170 gr.10mm hp/xtp bullets #4005  I'd like to load.  Does anybody have any source for load data for these bullets? I have Hornady  9th edition manual and they are not listed. Looked on line and can't find anything.  Thanks for any help.

Handloads.org has archived data from both Alliant and Accurate for 170 grain JHP's

Here is Alliant 2006 data and they show a 170gr JHP...any 180 grain data would easily be substituted to the 170's.

I agree with The Shadow. 180 grain data would substitute nicely. Or use 165, and back off a skosh.
