Bought boxes at Gander Mountain. $30 a box of 50, 1250 FPS, 624 velocity, Sig brass.
Sounds good. 8)
Decent ammo.
I have been looking and can't find any. I wanted the HP as well.
I wonder why Gander doesn't show a single anything 10mm on their website?
Post up a couple pictures of the box and rounds when you get a chance for us. Thanks!

Brass cased. I wonder if only the V-Crowns get that special coating?
I guess when it shows up in Cabela's, I won't have much need to buy FMJ's on-line anymore.
Do you have a Cabelas you can drive to now?
Yup. They opened a new one in tax free Delaware. It's located on the Christiana Mall grounds...
If it meets those numbers it would be a good round. It would be better price point as a JHP! ::)

Awesome. I use the one in Hamburg PA, but it's a 2 hour ride from my house.
IIRC, while at Cabela's, I did see a tag on a shelf for the 'Sig' 10mm ammo but none was there.
I did buy some of the 'Sig' branded 300blackout.
Hit my LGS today and he said that his Sig rep told him not buy any as Sig ammo as its not selling nationwide.
If they sold the stuff at Walmart it would sell fast.
I have a guy sending some of the FMJ's for pull-down...We will have a look inside next week hopefuly! ;D
I can't find any to purchase. I wonder when the HP version will be out?
Okay.
Cabela's now has it for $24.99 and I ordered 10mm and .357 Magnum:

Cheaper at Cabelas and they have 38 Supers. Can't wait for my Cabela's to open next year.
Does anybody know who is loading this for Sig? Does Sig actually have their own ammo factories?
I don't have a box yet to get City information. That can get us started figuring it out.
I forgot I had a box of 9mm and it just says made in the USA.
I did find this:
http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/03/06/sig-sauer-v-crown-ammo/
It looks like Sig is actually making their own.
Gander shows them online now.
I saw it in at least 4 calibers at Cabela's today.
I have a box of FMJ on the way from Cabelas. I look forward to Shadow's pull-down.
Mine won't be in untill 4/6 to test it.
Got the 10mm today:

No rain tomorrow preventing me from shooting them and the others!
SIG brass. Want.
My results weren't as good as The Shadow. I also didn't take a 4.75" EAA piece with me today to get that data.
S&W 1006 5" barrel 1210, 1223, 1217. Average = 1216.66 FPS/ 591.53 LBS
EAA Super Match 6" barrel 1280, 1281, 1265. Average = 1275.33 FPS/ 649.96 LBS
Would this 10mm ammo be considered normal powered 10mm?
I know a lot of 10mm ammo has been neutered - like PPU.
I am not looking for high power 10mm like Buffalo Bore or Underwood.

Not sure on the Sig
Not understanding what you are saying though. You don't want neutered - get that. (It's .40SW!!) BUT BB and UW are not THAT high power, they are just 10mm, not over pressure or anything.

I want some 10mm ammo that is equivalent to what 10mm was originally designed to be. From reading about different ammo on this site, it seems like a lot of factory 10mm ammo is not made to the original specs.
I want to compare the feel of my reloads against real 10mm ammo. So far 10mm has not impressed me that much. I feel very little difference between 10mm and 40S&W. I keep expecting something like a 357 magnum to 38 Special difference.
Underwood and Buffalo Bore are too expensive. The SIG FMJ seems like a good price (although Cabela's just raised the price $3/box).
.
I need to follow up with a Witness test to really know where this one sits. Anything >600lbs. I have always considered real 10mm. Right now for the price it's about the best bang for the buck FMJ practice 10mm round out there and won't be hard on equipment shooting a bunch.

For sure on the expense. 10mm is NOT nuclear........it's mostly legend. .40 is much closer to 10mm in pressure than .38Special is to .357Mag. I think this is why so many people say "10mm is most enjoyable if you reload" and to get that perfect load without breaking the bank.
10mm is almost as cheap to load as .40 cal, once you get some brass.

Yep. Large primers, slightly more powder and bullets that can handle 5000 ft/sec. ;D :D :)) :o 8)
That sucks they went up already. When more places get them in stock, I'm sure they will have better prices. If that isn't the case, I will opt for something similar for less $$.

The primers usually don't cost any more for the large pistol (At least not where I bought them) I use the exact same bullets for .40 cal and 10mm (185 grain Precision Bullets) Very slightly more powder, but a different faster powder, and I don't even want to hold a pistol that shoots 5000 ft/sec, much less fire one. I think My 10mm leave my pistols about 1200 fps.
Now in my Mechtech with the 16 inch barrel???? I need a chrony!
Had a good evening shooting and got the Limited Pro data. Just one of those days when I put them in really good and was feeling it ;D so did a long string.
Sig Sauer 180gr FMJ
EAA Limited Pro 4.75" 1228, 1241, 1228, 1222, 1225, 1220, 1210, 1229, 1229, 1227. Average = 1225.9 FPS/ 600.55 LBS. About perfect for a real 10mm target round except... they jacked up the price to $28!
EAA Super Match 6" 1293, 1264, 1280, 1275, 1271. Average = 1276.6 FPS/ 651.25 LBS

But 10mm reloads ARE real 10mm! :P

All I did is hit reply with quote. ???
No worries. The orginal post being quoted ended up with nested quotes. Looked like just the wrong quote header got removed when it was cleaned up to include only the comment you were responding to.
Dang yuppie technical crap! :P ;)
