Title: Anybody watching CPAC?
Post by: Patriot on February 28 2015 07:04:00 AM MST
I enjoyed Hannity's interview with Ben Carson. The guy is smart. And he's currently leading the Newsmax poll at 28%.

Will Rand Paul tie the record with a 3rd straw poll victory in a row?

I've watched a little.  Carson, Fiorina, Cruz, Walker, Paul... Trump (for sh#ts and giggles).

I've always liked Carson.  He had a cringe-worthy statement, i.e. "depends on where you live" re: semi-auto's but later clarified what he meant and his position on 2A.

The idea of Walker/Carson does a little somethin for me.

Yes, looks like Family Values is no longer a electoral issue.

So whats left for conservatives?

Foreign Policy and Economics, both things that Democrats trump Republicans at.

I just loved how Rand Paul will cut taxes and balance the budget in 5 years without explaining how.

Or how Walker compared terrorists to unions.

Or Fiorina attacking Hillary when she cut the wealth of her company in half.

Cruz is a real conservative, but he was born in Canada.

More wasted money and false promises.

More aircraft carriers and other military hardware that we can't afford and have no use for. Some of the top guys (Admirals?) in the Navy said they don't want or need any more carriers because they don't have the money to take care of the ones they have. They claim they need the money for other things, and that Congress is forcing them to have new carriers.

You left out Carson.    Come on, you can regurgitate something on him I'm sure.

Sorry not paying attention to Carson, he has no shot.

Carson has just as much a shot as Fiorina does, yet you regurgitated something about her.

Carson is my early top choice.  The reason is because he talks about the Constitution, and because he speaks of bringing people together instead of dividing.

He has common sense, is an example of excellence in all he does, and has no ties to DC at all.

I also like his tax platform to pay off the debt and minimize the IRS.

Rand Paul won the straw poll for the 3rd year in a row. Scott Walker was 2nd. Rubio, Perry and Carson didn't do very well, and Jeb was a complete bust.

Walker is my Governor, and I've had PLENTY of chances to vote for him.  He has guts.  I just wish I heard more support of the Constitution on the stump.  Unions hate his guts, no doubt.  He is pro gun, and helped us to be the 49th carry state and a Castle Doctrine state to boot.  We were just a little late to the party!!

I like Rand, but I doubt he will be there in the end.  Ron and Rand have started a movement among the youth of the country that is changing the direction of the conservative youth.  Its all about Liberty!!!  Its all about the Constitution!!!

Its early, and I have no idea where this goes, but I just hope the results causes a hard right in the direction of the country.
