Buffalo Bore is using #9 now? Is that really an XTP bullet?

PBR shows 14.6gr's. Should be about right for the rating.

No....I had gotten these a while back and they weren't true XTP's. Tim Sundles didn't answer me when I asked him either.

I'm trying to figure out what I should do on the sheets for these. Should I update the current, move it to discontinued or something else?  ???

other than the shorter COL this data is nothing really special from buffalo bore, according to the newest hornady manual it lists 14.9 AA #9 as max charge, so for them to claim they are doing something special not so much?  :-X Good info none the less

I have purchased Buffalo Bore to get data... and that's it! Way too much money for what you are getting (what exactly are you getting?). The packaging for 20 rounds drives me nuts!

Buffalo bore only sells one 10mm load that cant be bought cheaper elsewhere.  The 155gr barnes going 1400fps.  Corbon loads it at 1250 is and doubletap is low 1300's. Underwood and pbr beat them for everything else.

BB can be ok in some calibers.

I think if you really want real 10mm, it's home loads.

The lighter weights I just tested were all good. The 135 Noslers were the highest in that weight.

Thanks for the pull-down and data!

The last 180 gr Buffalo Bore loads that I bought were loaded with Montana Gold HP target bullets. 1335 fps in my G20.

If these are actually 180 gr XTPs (they look like them), then that should be a really nice round. Reasonably low flash and fairly clean burning. My G20 really likes a hefty helping of A9 under 180 and 200 gr XTPs. It is also a load that is "on book", so perhaps a bit of wiggle room for pressure. Too bad they are so expensive, since that would be an all-around useful load.

With brand new brass, I can load the same for about $42/100. Reloads are about $26/100.

Interesting that they aren't using Starline, as they usually do.
