They will never beat out Big Blue's XL650 - the only thing the might beat BB is in price( a lot lower ), I do like there powder drop though.

What does the XL650 do that the Hornady Lock-n-Load AP doesn't do for $130 less money + 500 free bullets?
Not saying Big Blue doesn't make a good product. I have run a lot of rounds on a SDB, and will probably buy a 1050 someday for the onboard primer pocket swage. But in the $500 range, I think Hornady beats them. Hornady stands behind their product. Their quick change die system is cheaper than Dillon, and I like it better.

The case feeder works a little better but I think LNL is a great press. I have the 650 and it works really well but I will say the LNL is a well made press. I kinda like the 1/2 turn of shell plate on down stroke and then 1/2 turn on upstroke. This equates to less powder spillage from smaller cases.

That looks like a very nice press. It will be interesting to see how the case feeder is rendered. The Pro 2000 is a great press, but the lack of a case feeder was a barrier for some.
For us Pro 2000 owners, the BIG change is to tube fed priming. The smallish, but highly enthusuastic, group of us who are fans of APS priming are disappointed. The method of indexing looks brilliant. Smooth and positive. They didnt change the powder drop. That's a good thing. Without a dedicated primer swaging station, it is not in the league of the 1050. In my view, a swaging station is one of the TOP reasons to get a 1050. So it is probably more suited for comparison to the 650. Caliber changeovers have been a strong point of Pro 2000s. I can switch die plates and shell plates, change priming, and configure the powder throw in 2.5 minutes on my Pro 2000. So the final release of the case feeder will let us know how competitive the 7 will be against the 650. It does look very intriguing. I do wish it had APS priming. Since the market did not fully accept it, I understand why RCBS moved to tubes.
The one big problem I have with the 650 is the powder drop. I have a uniflow on the bench - .5 verience in the powder drop is not satisfactory in my higher loads and I've been trying to figure out how to put the uniflow on my 650 - RCBS may have done it for me - get that one station from them and I'll be off and running.
