Title: EAA witness slide compatability
Post by: wadcutter on January 26 2015 08:19:13 PM MST
I was wondering If I can use a standard length slide on my Witness compact 10mm. If I can is there a gap between the frame and the bottom of the slide? I want to buy a 38 super conversion kit and the standard length kit is only $260. The compact kit costs $410, I can buy a whole new Witness for $450 and I'd rather have the longer barrel for the 38 super anyway.

We have a member here who runs a compact with different slides. I'm sure he can give you what has worked.

I always like excuses to buy new pistols.  ;D

Thanks Intercooler, I emailed eaa and they said that they are compatible. Now I'm wondering if anyone makes extended magazines with finger grips. I did an internet search and someone mentioned there are but I haven't been able to find any.
