Not that I have heard, close to the 41?  It does have cut for optic- wonder if that adds to pricing ?

Interested in this, but I would need to see a few things on it first.

1. That it is springed right from the factory. My 51994 had such a weak spring that the joke of 10mm ammo privi partizan 180gr was bottoming the slide :o. When i sent it back in for repair as it was jamming at least once on every mag and often twice they put proper springs in it. Now it runs every thing without bottoming out. Still jams about once every hundred rounds, but I think an extra power mag spring will fix that as the jam is always a round turned 90* and pushing all the other rounds down in the mag.

2. That the recoil guide rod have the pinhole moved forward a bit. On my 51994, you cannot lock the slide back and put something in the guide rod it is still about 1/8in back. If it would be where you can lock the slide and put the pin in, take down would be infinetly easier. Especially with a 24 pound recoil spring.

3. Cut the sight slots with normal novak or common cuts and common depth cuts no more of this proprietary stuff. I had to have the slide re-milled to put night sights on my commander.

If they did those three things Im in!

Those of you who have purchased RIA products, what is the standard discount from MSRP for these guns.

Sweet zombie jesus, I hope MSRP and in store pricing is significantly different. Match or no, I dont think I would be willing to even consider dropping that kind of cash on a RIA. I would be looking at a custom Fusion if I am gonna get that high in price on a 1911.

Yeah.

For $1200 I would buy another P16-40 and have it reamed:

My smith charges $25 to ream, so $925 + shipping and FFL.  Way under $1200.
