These could be Double Tap factory rounds that someone found poorly loaded in their purchase or they where handloaded in New Double Tap brass. ???

Not passing the gauge means they wouldn't have chambered?

That load should give 1175 FPS or so?

Yes they didn't fit, the one that is shown almost fitting and the other with plenty sticking out is as far as it would go.  Was a combination of the bullet seating crooked and the brass at the longest length may have added to the buckling of the casing when it was crimped.  After I resized and reloaded them the fit the gauge now.

I weighed all of the rounds and they were fairly close but I'm going to pull the heaviest one for a peek.
That 3rd cartridge also had exactly 7.8 grains of LongShot...I don't see a need to pull any of the rest.

After eyeballing them, etc... these are reloads.

5 shot averages
EAA Limited Pro 4.75" 1142.2 FPS/ 522 LBS
EAA Super Match 6" 1169.16 FPS/ 542 LBS

Probably not a bad target load. Another grain of Long Shot would make them real good!
