Title: Anyone experienced with EAA 45's and what do you think of them?
Post by: Buckeye 50 on December 19 2014 03:35:40 PM MST
Got the 45acp bug again and would like something else in addition to my two Glock 10mm's.  Not ready to drop $1K + on a 1911 right now - may just wait.

Out of box IMHO, CZ97 most accurate.

Yes, a CZ97 would be great, but the Witness would be a very nice choice for your 45
The Large Frame Witness has a lot of pluses other 45s don't
You can get a 10mm Conversion Set (or two) for it and have yourself another 10, to add to your Glocks
There are several Conversions available for that Frame
Here's how I have my Witness set-up
The Semi Compact in 10mm, a 10mm Longslide and a 22 Conversion:

I have a friend with a CZ-97.  I have handled and fired it.  Nice gun, but not in the same class as what you money will get you with an EAA product.

For my money:

And spend the $200 difference on ammo.
