Just ordered a steel Witness from Bud's. I'm exited to get into shooting ten. I had intended for quite some time to get an Elite Match but after a lot of thought and talking to people on other forums, I decided that I didn't need the features that the Match offers. I'll put the money I saved to good use as I need to get something for recoil reduction and re-loading equipment. Any preferences for Hennings guide rods or Sprincos among Tanfoglio owners?
Welcome. I'm sure some members will be along to give you advice. I own multiple Witness 10mm guns and haven't done any upgrades other than 20-22 lb Wolff recoil springs. Steel Witnesses made after 2011 seem to be much better than previous models. Mine run great as long as I maintain proper grip.
I didn't know there was "unofficial" members! ;)
DA/SA Fan, glad to see you grabbing this by the horns...looking forward to your range reports. 8)

Oh, but it ate at my soul to come here every day without actually having a 10mm! :))
I ghosted this forum for almost 2 years before buying my 10MMs - and than joining - Shadow was one of the biggest reasons I joined - and that this is the best and most informational forum out there and the most friendly-ist one you'll will ever find. Welcome!!!!!

I checked this site out as a guest for a couple of months before signing up. A great place of information. Used to frequent the ten ring on Glock talk before.
Welcome, this is an amazing site.
Welcome to the 10 side DSF
The 10mm Round is just too fun to shoot, and has so many uses
With its Straight Walled Case, very easy to reload too
I was an early 10mm convert. I bought my first one only a couple months after my first .45 ACP. I had a .40/357 SIG.
If it were up to me, 9mm and .40 S&W would be ditched and replaced with 9x23 and 10mm! Heck, If I can hold a Desert Eagle, someone with small hands can deal with a large framed semi-auto. Right?
