Saw a Colt Delta Elite in the local Armslist. But the guy either wanted 1500 cash, or a trade for a SIG P229 in .40 cal, which I have one of.
I ain't got the money, and he ain't getting my SIG. Oh well, I have 3 other 10mm's to fondle.

Yeah, but add shipping and a transfer fee. I'm talking a local deal.
They are still in production. It seems lately that Colt has increased production since they've lost a lot of government contracts. I see them on GA Outdoor Trader for around 1k or less used. Not sure if Alabama has a similar website.
Check with a dealer on a new one. A local dealer has had 5 Colts in 38 Super recently........these are normally pretty rare.
I have been wanting a Delta Elite for years now. I would trade my 229 for one, but I don't think the State of NJ would appreciate that. Lol..

My small short fingered hands do not like double stacks, though. Otherwise I would own a Desert Eagle in ..50 AE, or an LAR Grizzly .45 magnum.

Gandog, try the elite match sometime. If anyone nearby you has one to shoot it would be great. Try before you buy. I don't have big hands either but its a slimmer than the average double stack and the single action only trigger is already back for ya.

10mm pistols are pretty rare around here unless you like Glocks. (And I DON'T!) I've seen one RIA, and no others.
