Anyone hear of this?
Bought a few boxes and its claimed to be 180 grain, 1300 and uses Starline brass.
Shot strong with no problems. Out of Klamath Falls Oregon.
If you have some we should do a pull-down to see what's inside...everyone can learn from its history documentation! ;D
If you wish to send one or two cartridges PM me for details.
Are they still in business? Do you have a picture of the box?
Its a white box with a label on front of a old guy and a label on the back.
Its says something about some of the ammo comes from a Parent Cartridge.
The do re loads and and new loads, the re loads appear to be Federal and the new ones are Starline.
They load the new stuff hotter.
My Google-Fu has failed me finding at any company info or product data... ???
Comes in 2 styles, 1 170g rated at 1350 FPS & 1 180g at 1300.

Very interesting find,
$25 a box, both were stronger than the Sig 10mm and I think the Sig round is very nice.
Is that from Old Western Scrounger?
CW
Out of Oregon and that the loader keeps to himself, thats all the LGS knew.
It looks like somebody slapped a label on a box of handloads
I thought they were too, but he makes them in 10mm, 357 sig, 38 Super and a bunch of hard to get rifle rounds. Not a rifle guy so I dont recall those calibers.
My stash of collectable 10mm ammo. Bought while still being produced before they became obsolete/high priced.

Thats a nice stash!
Oldman10mm, that is one awesome stash! And price tags...there's something you don't see every day! Or at least I don't. :))
I wonder what the velocity on those Talons are? Not suggesting you shoot a bunch up, just curious if you or anyone knows.
The original Black Talons were loaded to a dismal subsonic 950 fps - 980 fps from a 5" pipe! ???

Add another grain of powder and they might be good to go! ;)

Ugh. Epic fail.
Suppose it's because the bullet isn't rated for more than .40 S&W velocities? Still, cool to have all those boxes from back in the day. Snapshot in time and all. Same with the Norma stuff. 8)
The black talons were tailored to FBI 10mm ballistics. Pretty much everything was in the early 90's.
Much better options today.
