I'm pretty new to the 10mm world, but not to shooting or reloading...no, that sickness has plagued me for many years haha. I just acquired lightly used G20SF and fell in love with the gun and cartridge. I plan to use it for hunting whitetails in wisconsin, so I'm working on building up a 6" long slide for the job.
I recently purchased some Xtreme 200g RNFP plated bullets to load up for plinking and am having a hard time finding anything other than jacketed load data for them. I'm wondering what powders and range of charges the experts here are using for a healthy-robust 200g load. I currently only have Autocomp for 10mm suitable powders, but will be picking up some better suited powders once I get pointed in the right direction. In my research, it looks like Blue Dot and Power Pistol are good contenders and are somewhat available in my neck of the woods.

I have always used jacketed data for cast and plated bullets. Reduce 10% and work up. If I have issues, I either play with lower charges or look to a different powder.
Alternately you could grab a copy of Lyman's Cast Bullet Handbook and use their data for bullets of similar weight.
livn68, Welcome to the forum! Congrats with the procurement of your G-20SF, it should serve you well.
AutoComp powder is a little fast but will work, 7.0 grains is shown @ 1100 fps developing 36,000 psi seated at 1.260", which leaves some room for a little more even though it would exceed the book values.
If you find Blue Dot you may want to start out at 9.8 grains @ 1180 fps being these are plated bullets, seated at 1.260" If your results are good then you may want to work upwards some to 10.0 grains @ 1200 fps.
If you find Power Pistol you might want to start at 8.0 grains @ 1200 fps seated at 1.260"
You will want to look for any signs of the plating separating or the bullets tumbling as you study the targets.

This will help you recondition your brass especially if shot from factory barrels, If you are not familiar with the term "SMILES" you will want to know and understand exactly what they are and it is explained in the link above as well.

Thanks for the great info Shadow! We've got a gun show starting on Friday, so I'll head over there for (appropriately priced) viable powders for the 10mm. I'll be on the lookout for power pistol and blue dot, but am open to suggestions for other powders to be on the lookout for.
Hodgdon LongShot is always a good choice for top performance and 800X if you don't mind hand weighing the charges...
Just finding the powders these days has posed challenges. If you see it, you had better buy it ::)...if you walk around it may be gone before you get back. :o
I like AA-7 & AA-9. I tried Blue Dot and sometimes a small increase in powder resulted in a much larger felt recoil. I stopped using it.
