I just got 100 rounds of this ammo in. I figure it will be perfect for self defense.

I've got a couple of boxes of the 180gr and the 155 gr that I bought about a year and a half ago.  Haven't shot any of it yet.  Don't know what I'm saving it for, maybe the apocalypse.

This is the only ballistic gel test I could find on Youtube, but from the results it looks like bullet expansion and penetration would be more ideal with lower velocity.

PandaBaer, the first video up under the 10mm Gel Tests is a 180gr Gold dot hand load at 1317fps that did not have that jacket failure, I believe that particular round he fired may not have bonded properly. It is not normal for a gold dot.

I would however whole heartedly admit that I will take THAT failure as an Acceptable failure. That bullet would have still gotten the job done.
