Curses on whomever came up with those front cocking serrations! Ug! :P
Nice gun though. If I didn't have my 1911 10mm it would be on my drool list for the next few days.

Beauty is in the eye.........? From an aesthetic standpoint I think the front serrations give most 1911s a more balanced look, less long in the front. Although, to me, of no practical use. I seem to be in the minority.... ;D
Yeah. I know lots of people like the look. For a while when they first came out I was among them. As I have gotten older I like the look less and less.
I wish more mfg's would make them optional. But, to each their own.
I searched for a 1911 for a while just to not have that. The Razorback is perfect and I even like the fixed sights.

That is a darned fine looking firearm. As for the aestetics of front serations, I also prefer without. Glad we all don't think exactly alike, or the picture thread would get boring real quick!
Very nice! What is that one?
I also hate guns with billboards. Maybe more so than serations!

Indeed
Lovely. Not a fan of the full length dust cover, but other than that they got this one right. Definitely like the unique slide without ball cuts.
I think that DW looks pretty sweet and I actually think that is a decent price (not a steal). I'd probably seriously consider snagging it if I didn't have this one - already showed the pic in the "show your gun" thread, but here it is again (unfortunately it DOES have a billboard :(). By the way I really like that Les Baer too!
