Haha, yes I noticed that as well.
It acted like mine. ;D
If only we could all be so lucky... :(
Is the Gen 4 G20 less reliable than the earlier-generation G20's? If so, why?

Yes, it appears to be less reliable, here on this site there are numerous FTF issues documented. Why? Not sure, although there are reasoned guesses by the public on it.
If Glock knows, they haven't disclosed to the public yet.
That's the question.
As of right now, there are some who have had problems with the G4 G20 and had to send them in. Is it wide spread, is it associated with a manufacture date....it's hard to say because Glock doesn't release official numbers. We don't know if it is 100 out of 1000 guns or 500 out of 1000 guns. There is a thread in here chronicling the endeavors of a couple of members and their guns.
Mine has given me no issues...it was manufactured 1/2014.
Wifies g20 gen 4 ran like a top with underwood 180gr and doubletap 200gr wfngc. This is maybe the 2nd review in a gun rag where they haven't tested the velocity of the 10mm and took doubletap at their box flap velocity.
