I love this fellow's web site, its always got something interesting or unusual on it!
I in particular enjoy the stuff that predates the common forms we have gotten used to, I.e. non browning recoil operated pistols and just some of the more eccentric designs like bolt actions converted into lmgs and the MARS pistols with the long recoil action.

Very cool. Smith's Book of Pistols and Revolvers has a great 3 page article on the Schwarzlose 1908 with general comments on blow-forward designs.
