I found 8 boxes of UMC/Remington 10mm for $33.99/box at the Bass Pro Shop in Branson, Missouri yesterday while on vacation. I bought 3 boxes for the heck of it. Interestingly, the .357 Sig ammo next to it was $6 more.
The Cabela's back home in Fort Worth sells it for $39.99/box.
I usually load my own but figured I could shoot it and reload the brass when my inventory gets low. It's kind of a cool looking round with the gold bullet and nickel case.
I think it's good to buy ammo off the shelf now and then to let retailers know 10mm lovers are still around. If ammo companies would load it warmer at a more reasonable cost, we'd buy more factory ammo off the shelf I'm sure.
That Remington isn't bad stuff. In the pull-down it looks like they upped it some on the Power Pistol charge. It's close to what I consider the perfect practice round ~1200 FPS.
I've always enjoyed shooting their load. That price has kept me from buying cases from them though.
Every so often a really good deal pops up on them.
Found these for $25 a box, bought 4 cases, my favorite shooting round.
Except for the blinding white flash when you shoot them.
I bought a box of UMC at local pawn shop today for $17 otd but it had 10 rds missing. I think those went through the Colt DE they had just put out. They told me $875 otd for that but I was kinda holding out for a DW to fulfill the 10mm 1911 category. Is that a good price on the Colt, with unsupported chamber?

If you buy used try it out first if you can.
Otherwise I would not buy used anything without pedigree.
I've been seeing the UMC 10mm in the LGS for $34.99.
