Title: SHOW ME YOUR TUPERWARES!!!!
Post by: ShadeTreeVTX on May 25 2014 06:17:05 AM MDT
I've seen so many 1911 versions that, well, I call them the Harley Davidson of the autos.  So lets enter the 21st century.
So Show Me Your Tuper Wares!!!
Of course when I can get my Photo bucket back, I'LL SHOW YOU MINE.....

Doug :P :P :P

Any Tuper Ware 10mm's. - I just happen to be a Glock Man. Maybe I should widen the range to other calibers? I don't know if anyone else makes a 10mm Tuper Ware - I would be interested to know.

Maybe  .40 barrel combined with a stiffer recoil spring.

Can't show you mine, because I like 1911's so much better. I think there is not one single Glock model made that fits in my small short fingered hand. Double stack grips just too wide.

Brought these two down from afar with the 6.8 but had to finish both off up close with the G20. Sure was glad to have it that day.

I'm not the sharpest spoon in the drawer. :-[ But it only took me 4 hr to figure out how to take the pictures from my cell phone - email them to myself ( I can't hook my phone to the puter and upload them >:( ) Than load them up to PhotoBucket and than transfer them to 10MM - Firearms.com.
Than my Daughter walks in and tells me there's an app for my phone to do most of that :'(figures after all that work and the headache - she tells me that.  ??? OOOOwellllll

How has your Gen 4 been running, Greg?

I'd consider it 100% reliable, but only in stock configuration.  The only exception is 220 Hardcast Underwood.  It really didn't like feeding that stuff.  With that exception, I'd say one FTF in the prior 400 rounds.  I have three magazines, so a box of 50 fills all three with five left over.  I'd expect all to feed without a hitch, and the last five would be a piece of cake.

Change a barrel or recoil spring, all bets are off.

It's a shame we have to use our kids to figure out all the new toys. I still can't make my cell phone work the way I want it to.

The G-20SF's are going quick and that will leave only the 4th Gens soon! :-[
I was holding out for the 4th Gen G-20 but after reading all the negative stuff and a sweet deal on a G-20Sf showed up locally I decided to move on that purchase...Glad I did too!  :D

I waited almost 5 months just to get a gen3  G20sf lower - and I paid for it ahead of time to stay close to the top of the list to get one, the demand for G20sf autos is fantastically high. I live about 50 miles north of the glock factory,    and know a couple of gentleman that work there, off the record they say the problem is flex in the front of the gen4 auto because of the larger opening for the double spring assembly and less rigid rear for the changeable back straps - the only 2 changes they made to gen3 model.
Take the above anyway you want, but I wouldn't wast my money on a gen4 10mm - thats why I waited so long to get my gen 3 G20sf for the Mech-Tech 10mm I have. now a Gen4 probably would not have made any difference on the MT----- BUT - I have plans to put a long slide on that lower later on -  8) :) :) :)
