Title: Ruger 10MM

I'm a huge fan of Ruger Pistols. I contacted them and sked if a 10mm was in the works.

Yes, pretty much what they told me when I inquired about them making a Semi-Auto carbine rifle chambered in 10mm like that of the Deer Slayer 44 they made!  Its a damn shame they will not entertain the notion of something different.   :(

I wish some distributor would want them to build a SA revolver in 10mm/40S&W.  Lipsey, Talo, or whoever.  It might be worth it to contact some distributors like that.

I'd go for a Ruger Blackhawk and a Marlin 1894 both in 10mm
Then a GP100 and a Deerfield in 10mm
I LOVE a nice combo

Hit them up several months ago and pretty much got that or a very similar response. Would love an SR in 10mm. Stay on 'em guys and continue to do good business with the manufacturers who do make what you want.

Pretty much par for the course with us 10mm people.

A few months I went around begging each and every manufacturer to release one in 10mm. Smith and Wesson was the only one that was even willing to discuss it, and that was only if we could get a HUGE (Read 5000+) order on M&P's from the performance center. Again, that was only to discuss it.

EDIT: Holy thread revival Batman, I must be really tired, from the looks of the dates, the OP was sending this email to ruger about the same time I sent mine to them.

I believe you can get a GP100 357 and send it to clark custom for a 10mm conversion.  Pricey, but very nice.

Info: Blackhawk 38-.40/10mm convertible was made years ago. If I remember correctly, the 10mm was the more accurate round in this gun.

I wish Ruger had taken on the rebirth of the Bren Ten instead of Viltor. We would of seen the Bren Ten in 10MM and .45 at least and Ruger would of sold a lot of them.

It is now available. in the SR1911. The pistol is a Series 70 and can be had for about $1000.00.
