OK, I know the one on the left is only a .22, but that RIA is sure a 10mm!

OK, range report on my new Rock. I was shooting at 21 feet to a 5.5" target. Every shot was inside the circle. Only refused to feed one round, and the Dan Wesson Razorback I brought to compare it with didn't like that round, either. Otherwise no misfires, no failures to feed. I really like the fiber optic pipe front sight. Showed up a lot better than your normal skinny 1911 front post. Found a cheapo 10mm magazine it didn't like at all, other other makes and brands of 10mm 1911 mags worked fine.

All in all, I like my new Rock. Good deal for the lowest cost NIB 10mm I can find.

Nice.

Is it the same recoil spring setup as a standard 1911?

Nice.

Is it the same recoil spring setup as a standard 1911?

Bushingless barrel, so no. It's a bit different. Still trying to figure out this paperclip thing to disassemble the slide.

Hey gandog56, there is a really good Youtube video on that Rock. Shows how to do the paperclip thing. Easy peaszy.

In regards to the question on the springs per customer service at Armscor, the 10mm's are being shipped now with a #20 recoil and a #22 mainspring. Most goverment models( not sure about RIA 45's) are 16/23. Steve

Yeah, I saw that video. He just takes the guide rod/spring right out. I had to tap the rod with a plastic hammer to get it to come out because it was so tight. Found that Kimber makes an actual tool instead of the paperclip thing, and Midway sells them. Ordered a few because twice the paperclip broke off where I did the 90 degree bend and lodged in the guide rod hole.
