Title: My Long 10mm Adventure
Post by: mt10mm on April 26 2014 06:01:04 AM MDT
I have had a few Glock 20's in the past yr and all but one I have had problems with. I tried all different tricks to get them to run correct and nothing worked. I had a SF and a gen 4 that would not cycle hot loads. I had ordered a EAA Match 10mm from buds and there was a problem with their system and the order was dropped. The same day I was at a local shop and they had 1 new gen 4 10 mm and had a real attractive price on it, I could not help myself and brought her home. I have shot UW 200TMJ/200HC DT 200HC and some PMC 200gr with no problems with a 100% stock G20. I feel I have now a good 4th gen Glock 20 but feel glock may have some issues they need to figure out.  I think the problems everyone is having in the Mags. I bought a new #3 15rd mag for my gen 3 non SF and the springs feels weak compared to the 3 mags that came with this gen4.

Well congrats on getting a functional one. I've had issues with my stormlake barrel getting underwood to feed. Everything else I've used will fit in there. Just like the cartridge was too fat. Sometimes in a stock configuration the slide would outrun the magazine so I did some new mag springs and a "new" 22 lb spring. Other one felt like the stock although they said it was 22. Seem to have it at 100% now but hard to say until I get more rounds through it like this. Have 3 10mm's and they are hard to keep well fed sometimes.

Ammo is getting harder to find and is increasing in price
