Title: Glock 20, Gen 4 with Nightsights (Two firsts)
Post by: TXCOONDOG on April 14 2014 08:24:09 PM MDT
I'm new to the 10mm (see my intro).  just bought a Glock 20 (first Glock) Gen 4 with nightsights and ordered a KKM barrel yesterday.

I bought some DT 180 gr bonded and 220gr Hard cast Buffalo Bore ammo too.

I also ordered some new brass from DP, Picked up some AA # 9 (all I can find right now) and CCI 300 primers today. I plan on trying Longshot (when it comes back in stock) with WLP too.

FYI- Looking to get 1200-1300fps out of 180 grainers. I don't plan on upgrading or changing anything else until I have more trigger time (I've read the other threads about the G4 issues).

I'm excited about the 10mm (enough to start reloading) and hope to learn a lot from the seasoned 10 vets.

Is everyone using full power loads (above 1100 fps) at the range or watering them down to save wear and tear on your pistols?

Also, what reloading manuals seem to be geared toward the 10mm?
