Title: Gen 3 Glock
Post by: CCantu357 on March 20 2014 02:55:38 AM MDT
I just bought my Glock 20 and I am already wanting a 29 to go along with it. I would like to buy new and stick with Gen3, but it may take a while to save up for one. Any ideas on how much longer the Gen3 Glocks will be made?

Until the rooling wears out and they have to tell california they changed parts? I dont know. I figured the whole reason they still make ANY gen 3 at all is because of california and not being able to sell any gen 4 here.

I guess they pulled the plug on the Gen 3 G20, I haven't heard anything about the Gen 3 G29. So you are probably good for a while. I carry a 3rd Gen G29 (that I bought like 3 months ago) as a backup to my S&W 1076. It is a handful with Underwood in it but is pretty accurate.

They are done with the Gen3 G20, but the production of the Gen3 G20SF is going strong.

I thought the same was true for the G29.
