Those Black Talons are a pretty ammo!

I'm posting about my early mishap in the range report section. Thanks to the member here sending these to me for testing! I saved you a squib and broken pistol  ;D

I did get a squib in the Hunter. Unfortunately, that ended the 6" testing for the day as the bullet is still lodged in it!

EAA Limited Pro 4.75" 1504, 1514, 1482. Average = 1500 FPS/ 750 LBS
EAA Hunter 6" 1630, 1683. Average = 1656.5 FPS/ 914 LBS

The third shot in the 6" Hunter was the squib and no data. Thankfully, it was the last in the magazine and it was an odd noise too.

I received the Black Talons today and fired a couple in the only functioning 10mm there  :D

EAA Limited Pro 4.75" 987, 986. Average = 986.5 FPS/ 432 LBS

Raggedyman registered 915 FPS out of his Witness 4.5".

Me too! Things worked out because it was the last round, I knew the noise and stopped. If I would have sent one down the tube with another lodged  :o

I tried to change the heading. These are Sierra and not Nosler I believe.

The heading did change...some of the post did not.  you could change them individually I guess.

The cuts on the bullet doesn't look like the typical Noslers:

I think these are Sierra.

I fired off 13 of the 150gr from the same box as the ones I sent you on Sunday through my G20 with 0 problems. Maybe that particular round was bad?

I made it through five just fine until that one. My plan is to call Kevin today to see what to do with the remainder.
