Not long ago you could find 10mm when 9mm was nowhere to be found. Now you can find 10mm, but not in the plinking price range. I wonder why Armscor and even PPU has dried up in the last couple of weeks?
Cycles. Especially with the smaller sales volume caliber like 10mm. They will try to guess the demand for the next 6 months or year, and set up a run and make that much ammo. If they guess low, then they run out before the next scheduled production run.
This is the first time I can recall with no PPU available.
Being the same bullets are being used for 40S&W they are using them in the higher demand 40S&W ammo more than likely! :(
Agree with Sqlbullet. Just like with the Sig 357, they do a run and change out. No doubt 10mm.
sgammo.com has PPU 10mm ammo in stock. just got updated. get it while you can. ;D
just saw some 37 cents per round prvi on gunbot
Posts like this is one of the reasons I like reloading, because much easier to find .40 cal projectiles.
It's still an issue finding components.
Some more ppu must have come in, sgammo had two boxes earlier.. I didn't want to pay shipping on just those though so I didn't get them.
More PPU cases @ SGAmmo. 6 5 4 3 left as of now.

Zero PPU left now.
I loaded this page last night to update the qty to 0. When I hit the "modify" link, it never came back. The database crashed and the site was essentially down.

Yeah, but I figured we would go through an Obama II panic, so I stocked up in November. Powders, primers, and brass I had on hand, and I just got done ordering 500 180 grain copper plated hollow point bullets....which were in stock.
Just wait until 3 years from now when the .gov realizes it has an extra 5 billion rounds of .40 SW ammo it can't use. Then they will sell it back to us at surplus prices. :P
I just wish it were 10mm!
