Title: Nosler
Post by: Rooster41 on March 12 2014 08:39:06 AM MDT
Any body have any experience with loading the Nosler Sporting Handgun bullets for thier 10mm.  Shooters pero shop has some blems for a pretty good price.  Ive used the Hunting bullets for my 357 and 44 Mags before with good results.  Not looking for specific loads, just your experiences with them.  Thank you.

I am loving the 200 gr nosler with 9.0 grs of LS.  Extreme accuracy in my KKM barrel moving along around 1260 fps.  I have a few hundred left and when I find more available I will buy LOTS more.  I would like to have about a 1000 of these all loaded up ready to go.  SO far its my favorite load to date.

Best of luck

Brian

One thing I have noticed with the Nosler 10mm/0.400" bullets, is their diameters are not exact...I have measured them from 0.3985" to 0.4000", and most measure 0.3995", not a huge deal, just something to be aware of.  The looser fit, can cause "setback" if the bullets don't get a good tight case tension fit.

Good luck!

I shoot mostly Nosler or my own cast bullets.
Noslers are accurate and open up a little easier and stay together better (than Hornady) in my wetpack testing in 10MM .I carry Nolser -150gr HP's at 1420 fps.
