Title: Zip .22LR pistol
Post by: Intercooler on March 08 2014 11:14:57 AM MST
This showed up at the range today and after talking with the owner I shot a magazine through it. It takes Ruger 10/22 magazines and is a wild looking piece!

To rack it you use the piece above the barrel by pushing it in. Then you have the chamber/ejection port in that area dead center which you have to watch the fingers are clear.  It's too big, bulky and impractical for me! Reports say it jams pretty bad too  :-X

A dealer friend of mine got several of these in when they came out, after taking it to the range he refused to sell them to his customers and sent them back. His comment was its not even heavy enough to make a decent paper weight.

One of these showed up at a LGS a few weeks ago and I had asked to see it, IMHO it was to big for what it was and I decided to pass on this gun. It felt bulky and had no sights and I was not impressed with putting my fingers up near the end of the barrel.
