Title: G29 Suppressed
Post by: No Rush on March 01 2014 12:05:37 PM MST
Hello everyone.
I am fairly new to the 10mm world. I have had my g29 for a couple of months now. Love the round!

Has anyone ever, or is, using a suppressor on a Glock 29?
Does it work well as a host weapon?
How is the reliability? Fit, function...
What style / model of suppressor?
What style / model of barrel?

I know that the 10mm is not the best for suppression because most of the ammo beats the 1100fps barrier.
However, I also plan to buy a conversion barrel and run .40s&w through it as well.
I have seen several G27's (.40) setup this way and I can't see where this would be any different.

Please let me know your thoughts and opinions on this.

I haven't gone suppressed with mine yet. Your post got me looking into this a little though 8) Here's the barrels I found that would work. http://www.glockstore.com/barrels-1/storm-lake-threaded-barrels-1

Probably wont find one designed specifically for 10mm. I imagine .40 version would work fine. Heard great things about Gemtech. Think I saw a video of a guy using a .40 cal Gemtech on his Glock 20. For ammo I'd consider a 200 grain Nosler loaded subsonic. Plinking you could use Blazer or that PPU crap.
