Title: Your thoughts on the EA Witness Polymer 4.5" 10mm?
Post by: Buckeye 50 on February 24 2014 10:57:50 AM MST
I have never shot it.  Have a new Glock 20 Gen4 and thinking about another 10.  Is this product any good - accurate, reliable, quality (holds up)?

Thanks,

Pat

Get a Steel frame Match on up since you have the Glock.

Can you give me a preview/review of it?  Also, there is apparently (I am not familiar with their lineup) a, Elite Match, Witness SS, etc.  I am most interested in the general recoil, accuracy out of the box, trigger, etc.

Thanks in advance!

Pat

Intercooler's advice on a match on up is solid. I have the steel frame full size and the slide cracked. It's currently back at EAA for warranty. I've heard they've discontinued the rounded slide that mine had but I'd get a beefier match or hunter even if I could go back on my purchase. Match will run you about what a brand new Glock 20 will.
P.S.
I've read a story or two on here where guys had some pretty big issues with the polymer framed Witness.

Raggedyman who does the gel testing for us on here has busted his Polymer Witness about twice. I think his advice to you would also be to get the Match. It's the tank frame of the bunch! If you decide to change it from SA only to DA/SA at some point the guys on Brian Enos forums will swap you parts.
