Title: How about a flashlight thread?
Post by: Zephyr on February 19 2014 07:27:46 PM MST
Let's see some of your favorite brand of torches.  My latest purchases have been from Fenix, Klarus, and LED Lenser.  Here's a Fenix LD12:

Here's a group photo [top-down LED Lenser M7 & M7R, Streamlight Strion, Surefire E2D, & Klarus XT10:

These are becoming a new addiction!  The little 'Fenix' melts-away in any pocket.  What are your favorites?

My dad hooked up a Streamlight Protac HL this Christmas. Things pretty amazing, has something like 650 lumens. For my G20 light I use a GTL 21. I'd post some pics but I've given up trying to get them on here. Files always too large.
HK USP 45 Tactical-Insight M6
G17-Streamlight TLR 1
Figured 3 Pistol lights probably was good and I left my other guns alone.

X2 on the protac HL  as far as light output it is the best i have ever owned and its a real white color light.   2 things would make it the perfect light.  adjustable beam and rechargeable batteries.    its way brighter than any of the chinese junk rated at 3 times as many lumens.

I've been very happy with EagleTac's products, I have one of there 850 lumen lights mounted on my Tavor and have a couple single 123 battery EDCs that put out 500 lumen.

Great setup there. I almost feel bad for the guy who tries to break into your place, almost.

I just received my first tactical light in the mail today, an Ultrafire WF-502B with CREE XM-L T6 LED. I'm really digging it! Light, charger and two rechargeable 3.7v 18560 batteries as a package deal. The functions are high (blinding), medium, low, strobe and SOS.  Just have to strip off the clip and see how it fits in my light holder now.

I have a Streamlight Strion, and agree with you.  The company makes an excellent product.

Yes, Zephyr I have a streamlight problem...  ;D
Been a loyal customer for many years. There are at least 5 here in the house, and 3 led lenser lights. And a few others.

+1 on the Fenix products:
TK22 - 650 Lumens
TK15 - 337 Lumens

No issues both highly recommended

dsonay, I've seen good reviews on the FourSevens product line.  Recently, I picked-up this Klarus ST-11.  I've been buying this brand lately, along with Fenix.
