Title: IFG- Italian Firearms Group-- Might be coming back.
Post by: schtoolee on February 06 2014 04:36:02 AM MST
Just spotted this, it says.

IFG is currently in the process of establishing our Central U.S. facility.  We plan to begin our new operation in Mid-2014.  We appreciate your patience during this time of transition and look forward to doing business with you then.  In the meantime, for more information you may contact IFG at: info@ifg-usa.com

I see they have a some different models tham EAA. Lets hope. ;D

So confusing.  Yesterday EAA said they weren't importing the Xtreme line. I thought EAA shut IFG down.

Someone send them an email asking what we can expect from them in 2014.

E-mail sent. See what happens. And yes I asked about the Extreme line. Also asked if they are planing on carrying more than just the 6 models shown.

The Bullseye is a small frame.

How can you tell? It is only 2 oz lighter than the Hunter. I assume, because of the slots machined out of the top of the slide.

If you think the Witness models made a price jump this year, just wait till they get here.

I purchased one but the seller didn't follow through. If you run a search here it will come up.

Thanks for your interest in IFG products.  Unfortunately at this time, I am unsure exactly which Tanfoglio products we will be importing.   The information on the website is somewhat dated, and I plan to update that data once we get a better idea of when and what we will be getting from Italy.  I can tell you one thing, the Xtreme looks awesome.  Im going to work on getting some in stock as soon as I can.  Feel free to touch base anytime and I'll give you an update on the status of the IFG project.  For now, I'd go to EAA and ask those guys what their intentions are for importation of the Xtreme line of Tanfoglio's.  They are the primary importer for them currently.

Thanks again,
Justin

I was going to post my answer to my e-mail, but I see you got the exact same answer that I just got. Word for word. Copy and paste I guess.

I guess a timely answer is at lest something. ::)

No doubt the writing said that and I posted the exact info in this thread I started back then:

It could be a large or a small but most making it here were small. I'm actually glad that GunBroker purchase didn't work out  ;)

They did. IFG and EAA shared the same street address at one time. Then IFG disappeared. EAA picked up Sarsilmaz and when they disappeared from the website, I find there's a new Sarsilmaz distributor, Task Firearms, and their address is just down the road from EAA. I think we need some investigative reporting. 20/20?
