Title: EAA Tanfoglio Witness Elite question
Post by: mt10mm on February 02 2014 07:33:27 AM MST
--Been eye balling these online but have a few questions.

--The single action; Are we talking Ruger Blackhawk single action or for the first shot the hammer needs to be pulled?

--What about size comparison? I like the size of my G20 SF are these about the same size?

--Can someone give me an idea what a new price would be? Would like to order one but dont want to get screwed.

    You mean with the competition magwell?

They don't list it on their site, but I bought both of mine through here for the best deal. Just phone them up and get them to order it:

Limited measurements:
L = 9"
W = 1.4"
H = 5"
Wt = 45 OZ

Glock 20 measurements:
L = 8.3"
W = 1.3"
H = 5.5"
Wt = 31 OZ

A Stock II is a DA/SA with a 4.5" barrel and might be more similar to the G20.

L = 8"
W = 1.4"
H = 5"
Wt = 43 OZ

The Match is SA only but is a little heavier.

L = 8.75"
W = 1.4"
H = 5"
Wt = 44 OZ

Another option is the DA/SA Limited Pro.

L = 9"
W = 1.4"
H = 5"
Wt = 41 OZ

It looks like they are putting the LPA adjustable low-profile rear sight on instead of the fixed in Bud's picture:

That one is a Silver case which is an older model. The new ones come in the black cases:

It looks like the year change into 2014 has given a price increase. If you are patient you might find it in the $750-$800 range.

  I searched and can't find a better deal than Bud's with the free shipping offer.

It looks like all the Tanfo's went up this year  :o Glad I made my buys last year  8)

Intercooler, I have the Stock 1 and have had it about 3 weeks now. Due to working and bad weather, I've only ran 55 rounds through it. I shot Underwood 155 & 180 gr. XTP's and the only problem I had was one light primer strike with one of the 155's. I cleaned and put in a 18 lb. Wolff XP recoil spring in it before I fired it. I have ordered a front fiber optic sight from Henning that I'm still waiting on.

 It could have been the primer. Has it ran good for you?

I bought the Limited Elite 10mm online , the first 100 rounds or so I had mutiple problems with cases hanging up on the extractor. I have since put about 400 rounds thru it and the problem has gone away.
The SA trigger is very good with a little takeup , accuracy is very good also.

This is a work of art! Kinda reminds me of Kate Hudson, only this is better. LOL

I have been drooling over the Tanfo also and IC's shop pic was very Purdy.  I have just looked online casually and am going to start saving up (or likely allocating my tax refund) for an Elite Limited.  The Hunter is wicked [sorry, I lived in the Boston area from 2002 till 2012 until I moved back home to TX and away from Nannichussetts].

edit:  forgot to mention how much I see these listed online as Tangfolio

Nothing wrong with Bud's. I have purchased a couple through there with no issues.
