In my other post in the 10mm Ammo section I had a friend tell me we would see 225gr bullets. Can't wait to show him this :o :o :o
Should I leave the sheet as-is? It's really a 220gr bullet and the numbers are really skewed with what's there.
Maybe you can add a column with actual bullet weight.
I guess this lower the KE being a 220 grain bullet at that speed as opposed to a 230 grainer. I still like the meplat though.
Thoughts?
My same friend said the bullets were also not up on the hardness. Wonder if anyone has a tester for that?
Is the 612 foot pounds of energy listed on the sheet based on the 230 grain weight or the actual 221 grain weight?
Also, I would be interested in the hardness issue. I don't know how your friend could tell the difference, but that could be important to us outdoors types.
230gr because no way of knowing if what I fired was 221. If they are all 220ish it's 585lbs or so.

Okay thanks. They still look longer than the Underwood or Buff bore bullets to me.
I think the bullet is not very hard either, and I was surprised by the lighter weight... ???
Well then, it sounds like on my next Cabelas run I will be picking up some Buff bore.
Lone Wolf says the Tac length barrels won't be in until May 30th though. :(
These bullets are def hard IMO I killed a deer last year with one theu the front shoulders.. Bullet shatter leg bones and ribs and was stuck in the hide in the other side with olny a small dent in the bullet (//)i was gonna post pic of it but I guess file was too big . I like this load from dt
