The .380 is geared towards female and older shooters (less recoil).

The .45 Tactical has a slim slide, comparable to the 9mm and .40 Tactical models. This might mean we will not be seeing one in 10mm.

I'm older (at least my hands feel that way sometimes) & I have a wife! I think we will be buying 2 of the G42's. So many people on various forums have been disappointed that it is not a 9. However, I'm OK with it being a .380. And, as thin as it is, I'm not sure how durable it would be as a 9. I think a lot of people who will be interested in it aren't the ones that take up the most posts on these forums.

Who's to say that Glock doesn't add others to the slimmer line of their models.  I guess we will have to play the wait and see!  :-\

Slimmer, lighter slides might not be what a 10mm needs.  I have my doubts if this one will replicated in the the 10.
