What looks to be happening is the case is still on the extractor when the slide is moving forward to chamber another round .This does NOT happen on every shot. The 200 gr cast at 1000 fps and the and 180 gr GDHP at 1100 fps and the 200gr GDHP at 1000 fps. I did NOT do this with the Nosler 135 gr HP at 1500 fps.
? This gun comes with 2 extra springs should I go to a heavier recoil spring, maybe this a timing issue.

You may want to inspect the extractor for damage, bent tip, causing excessive pressure to casing rim fitment. If not bent clean and lube. That would lead me to thing the extractor is very tight fit, dirt or carbon has caused it to not move like it should, holding the brass too tight and not letting go as the round hits the ejector to be kicked out from under the extractor.
Best of luck getting it sorted out! ;)
I see you got your new one. I have put everything through my Limited and zero malfunctions using a 22lb spring. If you need pictures or measurements let me know.
475/480, off-topic question- what is the T/C Encore in the other pics chambered for?
Gary Reeder out of Flagstaff,Az has a full line of wildcats based on the 405 Win necked down , also 7MM and 30 improved cartridges on the 30-30 case and many others, check his website out . ReederCustom guns.
I shot a small cull buck this weekend in SW- Texas with the 277 GNR- 140 gr Nosler Accubond at 2700 fps -shot was to the shoulder at about 120 yards, he went down at the shot.
Some of the pistols are TC Contender/G2 frames.

Let us know how it goes. I have never had one not run right out of the box which means maybe something is messed up.
You can cut the ejector way down to .320" to lessen your brass throw when you get it running.
Other than this issue how do you like it? You have a couple more 10's I believe. How does it compare?
Overall I like the gun . Trigger is very good , the black front sight is decent, I will change to the reb fiber optic at some point. I like the grip angle, fits my hand very nicely. Accuracy is very good with the loads I have tried. I will take it back out tomorrow morning for about 70 more rounds of higher performance reloads. I checked the extractor last night and all looks good. I cleaned and relubed the gun and will shoot it in the morning.
To early to compare to any other 10 . I only have about 50 rounds thru it. I do like the look of it ;D

FWIW: my Limited came with a Red follower in the Mag . I just got 2 of the K10 Mags and will see if that is the problem .
Sean
Oh. Is it the chrome or black version? Dump the red and you are GTG.
Came with Crome with red follower

Do you want to sell it? They don't offer them anymore with the new ones. Problematic but rare as a Golden Egg! Any idea what year yours is?
I have no idea on year, Bought 3 weeks ago.
I will try to get it to run right first before getting rid of it.

You can probably fix it by bending the lips. It's rare and worth keeping.
