What is the black plastic cylinder thingie that comes in the case with the Witness Match pistol? One end is threaded.

Can you reverse the magazine disconnect button?

A cleaning set. You can reverse the release.

Thanks, after I posted the question the lid popped off and I seen the cleaning rod sections.
Any tricks to revering the magazine release button?

Watch the video.  When you re-assemble, just put the mag catch in backwards...All else is the same.
